If my prayer goes unanswered, that's alright
If my path fills with darkness, and there is no sign of light
Let me praise you for the good times, let me hold your banner high
Until the hills are flattened, and the rivers all run dry

Please give us all your Baldwin thoughts (historical or movie) really love your Vizzy T posts
haha thank youuu <3 these arent all my thoughts about baldwin but right now i cant stop thinking about the line
“when i was 16 i won a great victory. i felt in that moment i would live to be 100. now i know i shall not see 30.”
baldwin says he was diagnosed with leprosy as a boy*, so its not like at this moment he just didnt know about his disease. he knew he was sick and what his fate was. but that victory, that feeling of success, overpowered the more logical parts of his brain. and he just… forgot about the reality of his situation. at least for a little while.
and sure a 16 year old boy having an “im invincible! im gonna live forever!” moment isnt anything new. but baldwin having a moment like that after getting diagnosed with a chronic degenerative (terminal? for his time period?) disease… theres something very bittersweet to me about it. makes me wonder how long that feeling of invincibility lasted. what was it that Reminded him. brought him back down.
(*irl baldwin, while suspected of having leprosy as a child, wasnt formally diagnosed until after he became king. wether they told him about these suspicions or not he wouldve still Known there was Something Wrong.)
#i do have some koh/baldwin edits planned i just…. gotta get around to it#something very fun thinking about teenagers from 800 years ago doing the same teenage stupidity thats still being done today#giving up the gun vampire weekend and isaiah 45:23 tmg trust me#🫡#baldwin iv#kingdom of heaven#asks#terminal in question marks cause everything im reading says leprosy isnt DIRECTLY lethal#but can disable and secondary infections ect#but i think those all also talking about patients today#Back In The Day. yknow.

Abortion is Murder & Unbiblical
The Bible does not use the word abortion. How could it? The term itself as a procedure wasn't invented yet! However, the Bible does cover:
Humanity's inherent value and rights as (uniquely among creation) made in the image of God
Murder
Child/infant murder as something abhorrent to God
Life's beginnings, indirectly (although that also has biological support)
Legal ramifications of killing a child in the womb
How God sees and interacts with children in the womb
How we as His followers are meant to treat children
What He expects us to do for the defenseless and vulnerable (i.e., the most defenseless and vulnerable human imaginable is the one in the womb)
And how the question of following Him and His Word is what makes or breaks the difference between a Christian and someone who claims the name but is tragically unsaved Below are some verses and some additional explication (partial credit: @glowsticks-and-jesus)
Proverbs 31:8
Luke 1:44
2nd Kings 17:17
Jeremiah 19:5
Genesis 9:6
Exodus 21:22-25
Matthew 7:20 - 23
John 15:14
1st John 1:5-10, 2:3-6
Exodus 20:13
Mark 10:13-15 Leviticus 20:3-5 (https://biblehub.com/hebrew/mizzaro_2233.htm)
Matthew 18:10, 14
Psalm 22:10
Jacob & Esau, John the Baptist, Samson, etc.
Judges 16:17 Glowsticks-and-Jesus Collection:
"Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.'"Jeremiah 1:4-5
"The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name."Isaiah 49:1
John the Baptist leaped in Elizabeth’s womb when Mary greeted her cousin (Luke 1:39-45), an example that babies in utero are responsive human beings already aware of the outside world.
The righteous Hebrew midwives at the time of Moses pleased God by saving babies deemed unworthy of life by the authorities of their day (Ex. 1:15-21).
As an additional note -- these references are included above, but worth a second mention -- it's plain that child sacrifice - child murder - is something that God abhors and explicitly does not command. I'd look here (https://biblehub.com/jeremiah/19-5.htm) and here (https://biblehub.com/2_kings/17-17.htm) and check out the cross-references as well. Likewise, there is direct support for laws against murder and the protection of the unborn (up to capital punishment) in the Bible (Genesis 9:6; Exodus 21:22-25 -- an additional reference here included about the common misunderstanding of the latter verses: https://www.str.org/w/what-exodus-21-22-says-about-abortion).
In summary -- it's possible (although, I believe, it does deprive its proponents of a foundational basis for the value of life) to be both secular and anti-abortion. But it is not possible for a Christian who truly understands their faith, their God, and His Word to be pro-abortion.

Was Bad talking about starless sky implying that he was there before the 4th day of creation? Or is he talking about different events where the light of stars were diminished?
Genesis 1:1-5 – Before the Stars Existed
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, ‘Let there be light, and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day."
This was the creation of heavens and earth, stars, sun and moon didn't exist at this point of time.
Genesis 1:14-19 – The Creation of Stars
"And God said, ‘Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.’ And it was so. And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day."
This confirms that before the 4th day there were no stars in sky. And Bad being an angel who are believed to be created before earth might have been there for the starless night sky. And this event was a long while ago before any life existed on earth.
Now there are several other instances when the sky got darkened-
1. The Ninth Plague of Darkness (Exodus 10:21-23) – A supernatural darkness covered Egypt for three days. This was not just a lack of sunlight—it was complete darkness, possibly including a starless night sky.
2. The Darkness at Jesus’ Crucifixion (Matthew 27:45) - This event lasted three hours (noon to 3 PM). The darkness could have covered the entire sky, possibly obscuring the stars as well.
3. The Sixth Seal – Stars Darkened and Falling (Revelation 6:12-14) - The sun was darkened, and stars appeared to fall, suggesting a sky where their light was lost.
4. The Final Cosmic Destruction – Stars Will No Longer Shine (Isaiah 34:4, Revelation 21:23) - In the New Heaven and Earth, stars, sun, and moon will no longer be necessary, as God’s presence will be the only source of light.
(there are probably a couple I am missing but these are all i can found or remember)
I do think the starless sky means he is talking about the very very first event- the creation of stars. Later events are either light of stars getting dim, hidden or stars falling for the most part and that technically isn't a "starless" sky

YHWH-Rapha
When God called the nation of Israel out from the bondage of Egypt, He did so with miraculous signs and wonders—bringing plague after plague upon Pharaoh and the land, which rejected His sovereignty. And, this loving-care for the Israelites, did not stop with the Exodus. Every step of the long, tumultuous journey to the Promised Land was divinely overseen—food, straight from Heaven, proving God’s faithfulness to His covenant people.
This faithfulness is, forever, celebrated in the Hebrew name, “YHWH-Rapha” or the “Lord that Heals.” As Israel obeyed their Creator, He would bless them with health—not bringing upon them the plagues of Egypt.
Although, in the current dispensation, we are no longer under the Law, but under grace, God is still the “Lord that Heals.” He is ever-faithful to bind up wounds—physical, spiritual, and mental. There is nothing too hard for Him! If He chooses not to heal, we can take heart in knowing that He has our ultimate good, in mind, and offers us His strength and matchless comfort.
*An important note: in each age of human history, it is not possible to, always, judge an individual’s personal afflictions, by the gauge of retribution; for, the LORD gives and takes away, in accordance with His will, mercy, and wisdom. It is, therefore, of utmost importance, that struggles be taken to our YHWH-Rapha, in prayer—Who, alone, is able to answer, guide, and heal.

No Weapon Formed Against You
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. Don't listen to demons. Learn to recognize when a demon is speaking to your mind and lying to you (Matthew 16:22-23, Luke 4:9-11) and reject the satanic message with God's truth found in the bible (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Demons roam throughout the earth tempting God's creation (Matthew 12:43-45) in order to turn people from God so they'll do Satan's will (1 Peter 5:8-10).
But greater is the power of the Holy Spirit living in you than demonic forces that are in the world (Isaiah 54:17, John 14:26-27, 1 John 4:4). In Christ, you will defeat demonic forces and fulfill God's calling on your life (1 Samuel 16:10-13). Have faith, be bold, and press forward (Joshua 1:8-9).
God empower you and bless you, always.
